Recherches personnelles
My research examines personal storytelling on social media as a narrative practice through which individuals negotiate power, visibility, and epistemic authority.
I use digital ethnography to study public discourse across Iranian and diaspora communities, examining how first-person narratives circulate online and how lived experience shapes collective memory, shared imaginaries, and public debate. I pay attention to the role of language—including Persian—as a medium for producing and sharing these narratives. I engage with scholarship produced in Persian, publish in both Persian and English, and contribute to translation work, facilitating knowledge exchange across linguistic and cultural contexts.
